Stephen Rive (35) lost to Aaron Canavan (-63)
Both frames were a bit scrappy making it hard for Aaron to score and giving 84 start is no easy task to claw back .
The first frame score line would indicate an easy win but it was far from that. Due to lack of scoring, Aaron played some excellent snookers in order to gain the upper hand and got his reward with Stephen giving away numerous fouls. In the second he had to work hard and made a 25 clearance to force a re spotted black which he duly won.
Andy Richardson (0) drew with Chris Blampied (7)
Two close frames with both winning their respective frame on the pink.
Aubrey Rive (14) drew with Robert Le Moel (35)
Two more close frames, Aubrey won the first when he fluked the brown followed by a good blue, and a couple of visits later potted a really good pink from bulk into the top right pocket leaving him in with an easy black into the green pocket.. Robert won the second when potting a long blue into the yellow pocket, white travelled back up the table for the pink to take the frame, but was within a millimetre of snookering himself behind the black.

Stephen won the second with a break of 41
