Played at the Jersey Mechanics, this years Billiards Inter Insular was a very close affair with Guernsey coming out 9-7 winners.
In the first two sessions, Guernsey won 3 out of the 4 matches which put them 6 – 2 ahead in the first to 9 games match. In the 3rd session, Jersey won 2 of the 4 matches to make it 8-4 in Guernseys favour.
Needing to win all four matches in the last session, Jersey managed to win 3 out of the 4, however with Martyn Desperques beating Peter Allen in comprehensive style _237-100) Guernsey ran out winners.
