Played at the Mechanics Institute, Jersey played Guernsey in the annual Upton snooker match.
The Jersey team consisted of Dave Proctor, Peter Robinson, Ryan Swann and Archie Greier, who was making his first appearance for a Jersey Team at the age of 10.
In a one sided game, Guernsey ran out 13-3 winners with young Archie winning 2 frames and Peter Robinson the other. However on a positive note, Archie won the highest break prize with a well constructed 49 break, missing a long blue with several reds left.
