Danny Brannan retained his Byfleet title after beating Archie Greier 2 – 0 at the Jersey Mechanics Institute.

Getting a 21 start Danny played a good tight game to keep Archie out of the balls in the first frame and aided with a 15 break left Archie requiring snookers with 1 red left. Archie couldn’t get the desired snooker and Danny won the first frame.
The second frame pretty much ran as the first with Danny taking points and when balls were not available, kept Archie out from any easy opportunities. Again, after Archie played a couple of great snookers, Danny won the frame, missing the final blue.
