Aaron Canavan retained his Channel Islands title recently at the JMI.
Playing Guernsey Champion Adam Shorto, in a match that lasted nearly 5 hours, Canavan came from 3-1 down and 4-2 down to eventually win 5-4.
This was Aaron’s second 5-4 win against Shorto in consecutive years after winning by the same score last year in Guernsey.
