St Aubin won the Division 2 Billiard Team Knockout title last week by a score of 708 – 651.
Played at the Mechanics on Wednesday 3rd April, St Aubin who placed 4th in the Billiard league took on 3rd placed Tower Tree.
First up was Bert Soyer against Bob Dension. Bob playing off a handicap of 110 beat Burt, who was playing off 130, by 250 points to 208.
Second up was Rob Le Moel off 120 against Peter Robinson off 70. In a tight game, Robert beat Peter by 17 points, 250 – 233.
The third and final game was played between Richard De La Haye off 90 against Howard Smith who was off 60. Richard eventually won comfortably by 250 – 168 giving St Aubins the win.
