PRINCESS GARDEN snooker handicap league.
Services Short Cue Wonders take over top spot for the first time after defeating previous leaders St Aubin Warriors 5-3. who held that position for just one week.
Result of the week goes to Mechanics Snatchers winning 7-1 away at St Brelade Steelers to move them up 3 places into fourth place

Gary Boschat (14) drew with Jeremy Gogan (-7) The two frames were completed in just under half an hour with both players comfortable winners in their respective frame win aided with a sprinkling of high teen and low 20 breaks
Karl Le Fevre (-21) lost to Ross Symes (-35) Another quick two frames with Ross playing extremely well in the first winning it with reds to spare after making a 67 break. The second was much closer but Ross closed it out on the colours.
Sean McDonald (-7) lost to Guy Heys (7) Guy potted well in both frames and left Sean with very little to go on. Guy was a comfortable winner in both to win just his third match
Steve Thomas (0) lost to Matt Cox (-14) The first frame saw some excellent snooker from both and ended with a re-spot black. Some excellent safety ensued before Matt potted it to go 6-1 up. Matt won the last on the pink to make it 7-1 with their best win of the season and possibly put them into contention for the title, only 7 points behind the leaders.

Stephen Morgan (0) drew with Jordan Proctor (35) Stephen lost the first on the black and won the second on the pink.
Howard Smith (28) drew with David Proctor (7) David was a comfortable winner in the first with Howard, playing as reserve, winning the second on the pink Ben Garnier (42) lost to Andre Bonjour (35) Andre won the first on the black and the second on the pink. Ben had won his 3 previous matches.
St Aubin Warriors 3-5 Services Short Cue Wonders
Robert Le Moel (35) drew with Lee Travers (7) both comfortable winners in their respective frame win.
Byron Le Cornu (35) lost to Ryan Swann (42) Ryan was a comfortable winner in both and at times potting balls well above his handicap.
Chris Blampied (14) won against Curt Tindall (21) Chris won both frames comfortably with good steady play for his fourth win in a row.
Aaron Canavan (-63) lost to Robbie Kilpatrick (-7) Aaron was not quite able to get into the match as Robbie played some good safety shots and was a comfortable winner in the first. Aaron did have chances in the second after making a 31 and needing the last three colours to take the frame but missed the blue, Robbie potted a good blue followed by pink and black.

Daniel Cavey (0) drew with John Mahoney (35) Daniel won the first on the black with John a comfortable winner in the second.
Nathan Piziura (7) won against Aubrey Rive (14) Nathan was a comfortable winner in both.
Ryan Yates (14) lost to David Ferre (21) David was a comfortable winner in the first and won the second on the pink, winning two in a row for the first time James Martin (7) lost to Andy Richardson (0) Andy won the first on the pink and a comfortable winner in the second for his third win of the season.
Mechanics A 4-4 St Thomas’ Tower
Paul Bradbury (42) drew with Andrew Vibert (28) both comfortable winners in their respective frame win
Bob Salkeld (35) drew with Connor Davies (-28) Connor won the first on the black with Bob a comfortable winner in the second.
Lloyd Letherbarrow (42) won against John Baudains (42) with both players on the same handicap you expect to get close games, the first was, and with the help of a 20 break Lloyd winning on the pink, when John failed to get a snooker on the last two colours. In the second lloyd was a comfortable winner for his second win of the season.
Phil Papworth (28) lost to Bob Denison (21) Phil was outplayed in both frames.
